Hopefully someone smart in council has noticed that not having designated spaces next to the chargers isn’t a great idea. Exploren finally replied and said they don’t own the site so can’t do anything.

Yeah. This one was in Randwick. Wild that they would put the utility in but not ensure that it can be accessed for its use. But it’s the council, so I shouldn’t expect too much.

This is an Exploren installation. Installed as a trial by the council on existing poles in the neighbourhood. I can’t charge at home in my apartment (strata horseshit) so I have to rely on public chargers.

First time in 4 and a half months that the street pole charger has had space next to it today. These points need the road painted for EV charging. Also they’re painfully slow. 11kwh isn’t ideal unless you’re able to leave it there for 3-4 hours.

Sorry, to be clear. The phone mic is picking up the voice commands in the vehicle. And because it’s connected the sound comes out of the car speakers. Works great for my individual use. Don’t have to press any buttons or learn any new abilities or wordings as I already use Siri a lot day-to-day.

I do EXACTLY this with iPhone and Apple Music. Stopped paying for premium and just use that. Also works a treat when moving from my headphones back to the car. Seamless 😆

Has anyone competed this and got their refund? Mine is still showing as an open application and is now 2 weeks over their self-proclaimed deadlines.

The massive benefit of the sound pricing in the cabin was that I couldn’t hear the horrible scratching and crunching very well. And agree, I’ll get it fixed when I need something else being done. Hopefully I can still get ceramic coating and just ignore that bit. 😆

I also had my first oopsie today. I’m furious. Crunched under the nose on an aggressive lowered curb into my friends guest parking. It’s a monster scratch across the from 50% but not visible from front unless you look under. 😡 Don’t have heart to post an image.

I’ve just left the cover that was on it when I took delivery 😆

Technically it’s an accessory, so… Has anyone managed to get their phone key to upgrade to UWB? I got the software update to the car today and updated the app and NOTHING. No prompt to upgrade the key? (I have the right phone for it too). Wondered if anyone else was having issue?

I use “Hey Siri” to call people and ask for music (Bluetooth). Not used the car voice recognition yet apart from to read incoming text messages. Which is ‘ok’ but I think Siri is better.

Do charging cables count as Accessories? I collect my car tomorrow and need to get a decent Type 2 cable. Anyone got any recommendations? Seen a few on AliExpress but not sure what I should trust.

I will see you there! My LR also available for collection on Sat. I’m so glad I was calm yesterday, would have felt terrible to have refunded yesterday and deliveries back on next day. Tesla really need better comms however.

Pretty much word for word on the phone today. I pushed pretty hard for some sort of compensation (supercharger miles/credit for accessories, FSD trial, etc) but got nowhere. Just the offer to get a full refund is available. Honestly mulling it over right now. Just to make a point.

It’s an option. In NSW I realised premium plates are white with black text and I want black with white text. So have ‘downgraded’ my premium plate cost to generic yellows and will pay after delivery for the plates I want.

Seems that Tesla don’t know my number plate until the day before collection. So will wait for that then pay the one off fee for my black plates. 👍🏻 Annoying they don’t provide a wider selection of plate designs when you order the car
