Very bizarre indeed. Especially since a CT just sold on the other, bigger online auction site for almost $10K less, and there's always one up for auction. I still would not be surprised if that was a shill bidder and they got caught out because no one else bid.
I could imagine the seller and shill bidder thinking another bid at the end was needed to spur on other bids, especially since the last $130K bid was from 5 days ago and crickets since then.
We will probably never know for sure what really happened. If it was a real bidder and the deal goes though, the seller got extremely lucky to find a ignorant buyer with more money than sense.
