I called them at the number on my Bill of Lading...866 435-2281. They answered both times I called today, and all they need is the last six of your VIN. My car is still sitting in NJ, no shipment scheduled.

All I can say is that car had better be beautifully detailed and fully charged when it arrives, or else...I guess, or else nothing, since I paid in full two weeks ago, and Tesla got their 2012 Q4 revenue.

This phone number is golden. Just got some info on the cars sitting at the Romulus, MI location (Detroit). Tesla released all the vehicles at this location yesterday and they are being prepped for delivery. Prepping could take a couple days and my delivery could be sometime early next week. So I'm looking at a total delivery duration of ~17 days since the car left Fremont on 12/22. Pretty sad compared to what others are reporting.

Why in the world did Tesla just release them YESTERDAY?!? My car has been there since at least Sunday 12/29 since that's when they wanted to deliver it but couldn't due to the weather.

That number worked beautifully. I found out in literally less than one minute what I have been trying to get from my DS for over a week. Car is in Jacksonville, FL and is being charged and detailed and should be delivered early next week. They couldn't tell me how long it has been there though.

I had to try several times to get through.

I think we are all bombarding that number, it has been very difficult to get through on today. I also was told that Tesla released my car for final delivery from NJ to PA yesterday, but that I wouldn't get the car until sometime next week, since they had to now detail and charge the car. I pointed out that Tesla had likely detailed and charged the car between Monday and yesterday, and now they only needed to put it on a truck to me in Pittsburgh. I asked if perhaps my car was waiting for a truck to get a full load of Westbound vehicles, and he said he would call me back with more info. Next week will be 20+ days delivery time since I was loaded on a truck in Fremont on Dec 19.

I provided all this info to my DS, and he said he couldn't apologize enough, and said it was going straight to the management team, as sadly I was not the only one experiencing delays and frustrations, where the car is seemingly stagnant for days on end. I fear this may be the result of hub-and-spoke delivery logistics, coupled with bad weather and two holidays. But hopefully it is something that can be improved upon. I know I lost a few days when the driver went home for Christmas and avoided a major storm...fully understandable. But to lose another week and a half when my car is seven hours away, and passed by my house to get there?

My car is 3 hours away - without traffic...

Maybe our cars are on the same truck? We're in Cincinnati, too. I've been told lots of things similar to what you've been told and expect (not really) our car to be delivered next Monday or Tuesday (maybe).

We're R#44, VIN 1380. Anybody that has an earlier reservation number can complain.

I spoke with my delivery specialist who said he wasn't aware of that number. So pass it on when you communicate with them.

I passed it on to my DS this evening too and he wasn't aware of it. My delivery is tentatively scheduled for Monday, but he wasn't sure how to get confirmation, other than waiting for the driver to call him. Hopefully he'll be able to chase it down tomorrow.

I'm not sure why Tesla can't arm its staff with this information...

Adam - Hang tight, you're good. It's a nearly perfect car trying to be delivered in an imperfect world - imagine how frustrated it feels. VIN 3143, in Arizona yesterday, on it way to San Antonio, got in the 2012 tax window, but the 2013 delivery window. Pretty sure the guy's going to call Tuesday morning as I drive to the airport to go out of town for three days. Hoping not!

So, after sitting in Portland for a week, I'm told my car will sit there until Sunday, at which point it'll be delivered to me (9:00am). Only problem is that Sunday is the only day this week I CANNOT be here as I already have tickets to a show in... Portland. The best part is that, on Monday, Garrett forwarded my availability for the week, including my unavailability on Sunday, to UPS.

My excellent DS, Garrett, is trying to get it pushed up to Saturday but I'm not holding out a lot of hope. Looks like it's going to be Monday. Yippie. Put me on the list of those whose initial excitement about the car has been worn down by a poor delivery experience. And, no, I don't blame Tesla for this one...

I am thoroughly unimpressed with UPS Autogistics.

Tesla made a choice to use UPS. Someone at Tesla made an unwise decision to relinquish control of their delivery to a third party.

Apparently UPS has a monopoly in this area since acquiring FedEx's auto logistics business.
Tesla doesn't have much leverage trying to deliver a smattering of cars when there are hundreds of Toyotas and Fords and Hondas etc to move.
There is no incentive for UPS or the truckers to move Teslas at a faster rate when the trucks aren't filled.

I am pretty sure that is what I am facing right now...my car has been detailed and charged and released by Tesla for shipment out of the hub, but it may take another week after that to get to me (seven hours away), as I am likely waiting for a truck to fill up with other westbound deliveries.
