Yes, if you decide to use the phone for teathering. On Verizon you won't be able to teather and talk on the phone at the same time. So, if someone calls you, your Google maps, slacker etc will all stop.

FYI - Fogging is really bad here in NC while its raining. Have had to setup the blowers to stay on the front window.

Some poking around with the external IP address of my car shows a private 3rd party tech company as the owner. I'd guess that there is a secure proxy between the public internet and the car.

Has anyone noted that user profiles are not available if you don't have leather? This seems ridicules to me since I have the tech package. A large majority of the items included in the user profile ARE NOT the seats.
