Yep... I keep telling myself, it’s perfectly normal for two proficient, profitable and talented traders to have contradictory opinions on the same stock, and both be “right”. One reason is time frame (stock movement / time). Another is risk management. Also overall strategy and expectations.

Interesting that Cramer drew the channel with parallel lines.... me and the traders I follow on twitter all drew it as a downwards wedge which is more bullish.... Then again Cramer saying anything bullish re tsla is extra bullish on its own lol.

My only complaint is the options premiums are so high these days... I did pick up some December 260 calls this morning around $33.5 and am rather happy to have gotten that opportunity.

I am terrible at the short term game and Tsla is very unpredictable at the moment. However, I get tempted by certain situations (in this case, cheap 315 calls on Wed and today) and can't resist sometimes. I just got lucky twice in a row. Pure dumb luck. Now back to long term!

And then I started buying back in, so I may still end in the red... The best play would have been to buy the dip after open. However, told myself that I would not increase exposure as I already had plenty of that.

I sold the 315 calls averaging a hair under $1. Not worth the risk.... short term is a tough game! We get positive semi pricing news, positive Australia news and good macros and SP hardly does anything. Oh well, could be worse.

Pretty silly, but I'm in exactly the same boat. 315 calls, and the same amount. Only reason I did it is they were cheap towards the end of Wed. Are you planning on selling at open or riding it out for a few hours? Will be a short trading session....

We had a soft (it didn't bounce back from it immediately) rejection of the important 350.xx level.... feel like we're on attempt #2 at cracking that barrier. If we push though that this afternoon, shorts from yesterday got it handed to them. Also Nasdaq has leveled off, makes for a perfect day...
