I’d like to see evidence that Tesla is working on the 15 stall sites at Albury, Raymond Terrace and Coffs, and the 12-stall site at Taree.
I drove by the site in Raymond Terrace (as per the address in PlugShare) on the 14th October. Absolutely no activity to be seen.
I agree, the Pacific Hwy need some TLC.
Obviously both are important, but Gundagai is a debacle every holiday weekend. At least NRMA's ex-Chargefox chargers are permanently throttled now & can't trip that big transformer that Tesla spent a fortune installing there. It used to go splat when all superchargers & their own stalls were all in use. Chargefox were supposed to dynamically throttle them, but that didn't work so well a few holidays back (Easter?) before they got sold/transferred to NRMA mid-year.
Holbrook (and Yass) will be a massive help for the dead zone between Wodonga and Goulburn.

Been broken for 16 days and counting.
Good food options though.
It is a fallback spot - something to keep in reserve in case...
I have charged there on 2 occasions

But hey when gundagai is chockers....
The last time Chargefox/NRMA Gundagai was down for a few days on a holiday weekend, Jugiong was down too. Yass was queueing, and Murrumbateman was the backup to the backup to the backup.
You have to remember there's also Wagga Wagga within an hour of Gundagai now as well.
Good 40km detour off the Hume to hit Wagga vs Gundagai. Can't see many doing that.
Wagga is more for people heading Adelaide - Sydney.

Diverting via Wagga and the Olympic Hwy is a 32km diversion. Adds about 40 minutes though. It'd have to be a very long queue to be worth it.
Wagga Sc possibly an alternative - basically a 40minute detour. Gundagai SC-Wagga SC-Albury SC compared with Gundagai SC-Albury SC
Olympic Highway is an excellent road between Wagga and Albury

This looks to be the Holbrook RSL carpark.
Hopefully not long now until Tesla can commision their side.

Interesting that Albury and Yass with NSW Gov funding did not open to all to start with but Holbrook without funding appear like it will. Seems it will be an easier non-tesla charging Christmas as well.
