Will 2025 equipped NACS vehicles be able to charge at Tesla Version 2 Superchargers

There are CCS2(same protocol as CCS1 with a better plug) cars charging on V2s here in Australia. So there is presumably an upgrade available. There have been some issues here with different CCS2 cars and Tesla chargers though not consistently. On the open chargers some will charge on V2 but not...

    Superchargers in Australia

For an objective measure on how Tesla is going to manage existing charger maintenance in Australia it may be worth tracking the Tamworth Supercharger, There is currently only one of four stalls working. This is confirmed by plugshare entries. Over the last 2 weeks the site has gotten...

    Superchargers in Australia

The Seven Hills BP does not meet the fundings requirements. It is only a single 75 kW unit with two cables. I assume this Seven Hills site was an unfunded site. There is another BP up the road in Seven Hills, where the grant specified, there is no EV charging there. It is possible it was...

Wipers via scroll wheel is not new. Been there a while. What I think is new is that multiple presses of the wiper button on the stalk will changer wiper frequency. Though I do not yet actually have the update.

    Superchargers in Australia

The underlying story here that Elon has dissolved the tesla supercharging group seems to check out. Just have a look around on LinkedIn on all the now former Tesla employees posting about it. And this is obviously through a professional lens were they are putting their best professional foot...

Can't see how it will not impact state funded sites. Hard to do anything without employees. There is no binding contract with the state funded sites that Tesla will install sites. They either deliver the sites and get the grant money or not deliver and forgo the grant money. Expansion of...

    Spare Tyre for Model 3

Is there anyone in the Sydney area that has a space saver spare wheel and jack for loan/rent for the next couple of months or so? Something like the braumach kit.

    New Model 3 Performance news

Brakes alone are capable of locking up the wheels. You do not need regen for maximum braking in an emergency. Max braking occurs just before the wheels lock up. Which is what ABS, Anti-lock Braking System, is for. It gives you maximum braking for the given tyres and road surface.

Tritium asks Qld government for up to $90m bailout

I don't think it is that simple. The board and directors cannot continue to trade to try and trade themselves out of insolvency. Who knows what the tipping point here actually was. But for some companies it might be one large contract that they were almost banking on falling through or even just...

    Enhance Commander Unit Capabilities

I agree with setting to assist. Should have done it earlier. Occasionally you will get a slight nudge when giving a truck or similar a wide berth when overtaking and are close or on the white line and even with one hand on the wheel this is easily overridden. Even nudge is not quite the right...

    Tesla Software updates - Australia

If you interact with the app and open boot or unlock door it will use a local bluetooth connection if in range. If out of range it will use an SMS to first wake the car then mobile/wifi data to communicate after that. If you just open the app and don't try any options that can work via bluetooth...

Tesla market share of BEVs in NSW

Sorry, maybe not clear. If you select a specific charger, within the 'location' section, you can see availability of that charger. If you go to the 'on road' section you can only get the directions option if not in GPS vicinity. The step back is that from the map/location view you cannot see...
