Tesla get government funding to roll it out (which is fine), then include it for voting locations (currently #6 in Asia Pacific and #2 in Australia ). Voting should be for new sites not ones that already have funding/building.

From Tesla Owners Australia Facebook on Monday. Poster counts 7 stalls.
I count 2 supercharger cabinets 2 pull in stalls and 5 reverse stalls. There is a 1500kVA which is more than enough for 3 cabinets, though it may have already been there and is being share or there is a new one hidden elsewhere.
It is possible this will be 7 or there is a missing eighth post in there somewhere. 7 is possible (and seen elsewhere in the world) with presumably one 3 output cabinet and one 4 output cabinet.

I spy the cabinet on street view from 7 months ago, so the 1500kVA sub is not a new one just for Tesla. So either using space capacity here or there is another being added. For reference the 2 Cabinet install in Wagga added a new 750kVA sub.

[Edit] If I actually zoom in on the sub it is labelled 500kVA. So the 1500kVA sub might be an upgrade to support Tesla plus the exisiting customers/connections.

Tesla absolutely destroying the other networks here with the QLD Electric vehicle charging scheme co-funded locations. This is two sites and at least 13 stalls almost already up and running. Not a peep from any of the other networks. I'll bet we will be nearing the end of next year before we see 13 stalls combined from the other networks.

Update from worker at site today… Ergon booked for power connection on 12th Dec and then the next install will be Bowen and Mackay.

Notably Bowen isn't on the Coming Soon list.
A site is listed under Qld Govt funding which from the Road I suspect can only be the Woolworths site on the corner

Fast charging electric vehicle infrastructure locations will be built at 44 locations across Queensland by the end of 2024.

And if Tesla is going to Bowen that's probably a good sign for Townsville and even Cairns.

Good find - I notice she posted that as a follow-up comment 3 days earlier and no-one had noticed!

I'd agree the Bowen Woolworths is the only realistic site on that road.
