Model S Homelink question

Figured instead of starting a new thread I'd just update this one and ask. Has anyone else been unable, like myself, to get HomeLink to work with their S? .

Same for me. I have a LiftMaster that works fine with both remote controllers and a Volvo station wagon with HomeLink, but the Model S fails to open the door even after going thru the full procedure without errors being reported. I've discovered in the past that I need to be able to press and hold the remote opening device while pressing the "Learn" button, but of course this isn't under manual control in the Model S programming sequence. There's a lot of variability.

Someone suggested placing the remote right inside the frunk when linking; got immediate good connection.

I've kept trying for several weeks to get the connection with my Chamberlain/Liftmaster opener. Yesterday Gjunky suggested that I reset the screen and then double-click the 'learn' button on the opener. It worked! Thanks Rob!
