Hi,
I recently reserved an inventory Model S 60D. The car was on the east coast and even with the 2000$ delivery fee (I live in the bay area), it was the car we wanted. When I reserved it on April 3, it had 619 miles on it. I have the quote that the owner advisor gave me on the day I reserved. Now, he did mention that it'll take 3 weeks for the car to be ready since it's on the east coast. So we wait. On April 7, we receive an email from a Tesla specialist looking after our delivery that the car was not shipped yet. When we asked for a quote for financing on April 10, I noticed that the car had 100 additional miles on it. I'm kinda concerned about this. I'm suspecting that they drove the car even after we reserved it. Not only it added miles on the car it also delayed the delivery.
What should I do in this case? Should I ask for more discount? Is it normal for them to add miles on the car after we booked it?
