I saw Steve Jurvetson's Model S (serial number 00001) last week in a hotel parking lot, and when I had the chance to meet him, I had to gush and say "I love your car!"

Not quite a note, but almost... I did have to take a few pictures of it. I would have taken a picture of the VIN, but I thought the valets might think that was too stalker-y.

Nope, this was in a plain old hotel parking lot. There was a conference going on, but it had nothing to do with Tesla... I didn't know Steve would be there before I saw the car.

I was pretty impressed that it was just his daily driver.

About a month ago, I had a different but similar note left on my windshield. I park in a public garage on a college campus. I have a dash cam which caught the two young good looking college Ladies leaving the note...as well as taking pictures of themselves.

That's just a polite way of saying "give me half of your car and everything else you own"...
