Tesla's Supercharger Team was recently laid off. We discuss what this means for the company on today's TMC Podcast streaming live at 1PM PDT. You can watch on X or on YouTube where you can participate in the live chat.
The earliest range given is 1/12-1/26. There is at least one R and several low P 60kWh cars, at least up to my P631 car, that have all been given this range. I will report as soon as I hear from Tesla about a VIN or a more solid delivery date.
I look forward to hearing about your situation Hans. You are indeed mong the earliest, and how you and others are supported will help the other 60's to know how fast their car will come as well. Congratulations!

My delivery window is 1/14-2/10 but I couldn't wait to hear the earlier 60KW delivery experiences, driving impressions and fun stories. Please keep it coming.
I am getting a non-performance 85kWh that I fully intend to take to a local racetrack. I'd love to see how it compares to a 60kWh as well as a P85, and I know some owners I can invite to go along with me. I'll have to post some video if I get any takers.
yeah - but that doesn't account for travel time... which they should be aware of when calculating delivery windows. I was thinking another 10 days after the factory is done with it would be a reasonable "delivery" window for an east coaster. (and i know i've heard some stories about a lot worse than that on the forums here. Still hoping they continue to improve).
yep, lots worse. Still waiting for my car. the transit for a ship between Oakland, CA and Honolulu, HI is about 5 days including a stop in LA.
so Factory (Freemont) to Oakland (with stop in LA), to Honolulu has taken at least 3 weeks. and I don't even know if the car left the factory. no word if I can pick it up at the ship terminal or if I have to wait an extra day or two after the ship arrives for home delivery. the next Ship arrives Jan 10th. don't know it is on it or not.
No response from Tesla in the last week after I asked for status update.
No response from UPS Logistics after I asked for a status update.
No response from Matson (Ocean Shipping Line) after I asked for a status update.
Disappointing indeed. Sorry, Babylonfive. Factory deliveries (coupled with lower Ps) may fare a bit better?! Fingers crossed.
Also, when you get a chance, can you please PM me the Delivery Specialist's contact info? I'd rather reach out to a specific person than to delivery@TM.
Call 888 51TESLA or email [email protected] to find out; Mine hasn't contacted me in over a month and I've sent him 3 emails. My PenFed rate quote is up today and still no VIN so I'm bummed.
It is possible all the 60s are delayed. My delivery window is 1/25-2/8. Trying to get it moved to March due to scheduling. Still have not applied for financing.
