See, I'm actually a proponent of the front plate. I think all cars should have them.

Reason being - when someone does something stupid (like this person who rear-ended our Model 3) ... Teslacam can capture the front plate.

Gives us the best chance to identify bad actors.

While that is true, then manufactures need to design in places for the front plates, so they don't look so ugly which is why people don't want them on their vehicles. Sadly, the only reason many cities now are enforcing the front plate law is because is revenue maker.
