Front license plate holder

I have a SnapPLate on my 2022 X, and I can't get it off. don't want to force it--any advice? I will try again this weekend to really work on it, but just thought someone might have a trick.

What are you doing to try and get it off? Did you put the lock screw in and forget to take it off? Are you pressing the swivel button in the right spot?

definitely removed the lock screw. I "think" I am pressing swivel button in the right spot . . . but obviously am either missing something or it is locked up with salt or something

I know I used to have a hard time getting the swivel to work, but then I figured it out and now have no issue doing it. I'd just keep playing with it and I'm sure you can get it to work.

I'm on my second SnapPlate and the swivel on this one is definitely harder to work than my original one. Not sure. When I do remove it, it works very easily but is difficult when installed.
