So the battery compartment wasn't compromised? That was lucky. If there is damage anywhere near the traction battery, I wouldn't keep it in the garage if I were you.
That should buff out...
I was rear-ended four years ago. Similar damage to my Hyundai Santa Fe. My neck was a little stiff at first but I only felt the full extend of he injury three days later. Apparently the adrenaline has settled by then. Now, four years later I am still in total disability with poor prognoses. I really hope you are OK and that you don't have to go through what I went through and still going through after my accident. I would still see your GP next week if I were you to see if there are any spasms or something of that nature. Symptoms only develop after a certain time. The earlier you see a doctor the better.
Funny I asked for the absolutely highest possible liability limits and $100k is the highest possible. Although if I'm not mistaken the umbrella policy would cover it.There should be a statutory minimum of $200k.

Thats just crazy, over here liability coverage (which is mandatory) start around €800K and go all the way to €6M.
wow, that does not bring you far if you are liable for someone who cannot work anymore to support his family. We here in BC have a statuary limit if 200K but most people are insured for 2 or 3 million.
