I'm excited too! I think this is the first time I've been happy our cars were delayed - really looking forward to the autopilot features.

I'm insanely excited as well. I'm having my least productive Friday afternoon at work ever!

If $120k is true then AWD is not an option for me unfortunately. I'm not sure what I would do with 1G of acceleration anyway! Early reviewers are describing a sense of fear being in the passenger seat.

The driver assist stuff sounds incredible though. My garage has very tricky access - when the Tesla guys brought the demo car around they looked genuinely concerned that they were going to damage it. I wonder if the car can be taught to negotiate it by itself? It sounds like we're going to get all of this for free too. (Well 'free').

Yes. For no extra cost. In the US I think it is costing $500 more.

Its better to opt for the standard seats... that way it helps the Melbourne based company supplying the seats for Tesla

Yep - and only US$4k upgrade for the S60/85!

Its $14800 USD for P85D. From memory this is roughly the same as what a P85+ was above a P85.
Its $4000 USD for S85/S60 which doesn't require 21", Tech Pkg or Smart Air Suspension.
