I agree on the service centre, I assumed that service centres would have superchargers present, so therefore would make at least a small blip on the map :P As it is, we look to be all but ignored. Thanks, I've just sent him an email... I'm also a bit hesitant to waste their time though, since I know I can't afford one right now. And have never driven any kind of high powered car (my current car is a Toyota Echo), let alone a Tesla... But it certainly would make for an amazing experience

Anybody over in Melbourne, the Tesla site says that the Marriott Tesla will be there until the 31st October. Is there a 'display' there, or is it just the test drives? I'm going to be there over that weekend (giant convention in Melbourne) and am hoping that I might get to see one, but not too...

That sounds hopeful that they will in fact open a service centre here at some point? That is so exciting that you will be getting it soon(ish)! I hope I see it around so I can either come say hi or stare lovingly at it from a distance :P

To me, the D looks like it sits at the same size as the 85, whereas the P protrudes just slightly over it. Very clever edit maybe? Who knows. I'm having fun reading all the theories though :D

I have a brilliant plan. Those of us on here who are totally obsessed with Tesla, but currently can't afford one, can be given one of the slightly outdated but build sigs, as a long term loan, until we can afford an S or a 3. That way we can continue to build brand and awareness in Australia...
