Ok, at the farthest stretches of my imagination and the technology (software), including fully functional cross-country automatic-snake supercharging, I could see a car driving the highways across the country, all the way to NJ.
But there's NFW a Tesla self-driving car in 2017 is going to be able to negotiate one of the three Hudson River crossings (two bridges or two tunnels), drive in random (not pre-planned or escorted) NYC traffic, and navigate to Times Square, much less go find a place to park (unless the drop-off point is a parking garage in Times Square, but that's cheating).
And if they do it, it's going to have so many disclaimers, caveats, exceptions that it's not really doing what it claims to be doing.
Folks, I apologize if my original post lead this thread to become off topic. In all seriousness I plan to check out the site sometime next week to see the progress. It would be nice if this could be operational in time for the holiday season.
Thanks for the update and getting the thread back on topic. For those who have followed other SpC installations, how much longer does it typically take?
I count only 5 charging cabinets which I thought could only supply 5 x 2 = 10 charging stalls yet the supercharge.info Details states 12 stalls. Which is correct?

I have driven by the Greenwich superchargers several times in the past few weeks - almost always see at least one car charging now, and often two or three. I hope they get Tarrytown opened by November 9, in case there is a mass exodus to Canada. We don't want any bad press for Tesla. Those additional 12 stalls will be helpful.
I stopped by the site today on my way up from the city and asked the contractors if they know when it would be completed. They instructed me to call Tesla support. Typical scripted answer . Below you will find a few pics. I could not get too close since the area is gated.
I drove by yesterday around noon - stalls covered in plastic, fencing still up around area. No activity (though it was lunchtime).
Greenwich Southbound superchargers were full with one waiting at 1pm! I imagine it will be pretty busy today and Sunday. Tarrytown will be a big help when they come online - convenient for anyone going over the TZB.
