After having the S and now the 3 I strongly recommend the Tesla wall connector for charging. I suppose you could wire up a dryer outlet but having the charger is so much nicer. I too have solar panels (also with Powerwalls) and may add some more just to charge the EV.

I recently switched the Nav to Spanish since I am learning it and now the Nav lady pronounces all the local street names as if they were written in Spanish. I have to pay close attention, even in my own hood. Excellent practice with numbers in Spanish.

One anecdote for OP. I had a S75D that was hit twice in the span of a year, both times with no structural damage and the other driver admitted fault. They said they didn't see it...and it was red! The damage seemed minimal and would have cost only a fraction of what the Tesla authorized shop...

OP: Your setup is exactly the same as the installation in my house in Hawaii. The one thing the installer mentioned is that they are locating the powerwalls on a side wall so they will not be exactly hit by cars entering or leaving. The three powerwalls are being stacked front-to-back on the floor.
