Supercharger - Scone, NSW

It looks like Tesla continues to make moves in NSW, even outside of the state government grants!

Proposal for a 6 stall in Scone, which was passed unanimously by council. In the same car park as the NRMA 50 kW unit - 167 Kelly St.

There was also a comment: "Currently, the superchargers are only compatible with Tesla vehicles, however this will change at some point in the future." - despite this being a privately funded site.

It's only 25 km from Muswellbrook (which was a successful recipient in the grants). This probably won't preclude them from installing it, although if it came down to one or the other, they'll be contractually obliged to install the Muswellbrook one.

They're really improving on their site layouts. The southernmost charger is nice for trailers. The next one is nice for disabled (hopefully someone will signpost it or sticker the charger as disabled-preferred). The other 4 are sideways layouts, a slight improvement on the status-quo, making them better for the eventual day that non-Teslas with weird charge port locations need to use them without needing to park across multiple bays!

It's a shame there's nothing to do nearby. There's a subway around the corner if you want a bite to eat, but their trading hours are limited. Other McFastFood is ~2km away.

And if I recall correctly, there's a slight bull-ant problem next to the NRMA charger. The installers might not appreciate the work as the trenching from the transformer would go right past there.
