Someone at Tesla Decided to Put Michelin Pilots on My New Model S P85 and.....

I went looking for the size I have and they are 245/35-21
Pilot PS2s are over $500 each and, as mentioned above, there are no PSS in this size at Tire Rack :(

Looking at all the Rack has in that size yeilds

The PS2s are 25lbs while the Pirelli are 28 for standard and 30lbs for the run flat. If you are really concerned about flats, you could give up five pounds a corner for the run flats at roughly the same price as the PS2s.

If anyone puts 265's on the rear, I would like to hear how the car handles with these.

By all means. Great discussion over there, and I'll be looking at that thread as it develops. Prior to reading that thread, I did not even have a working knowledge of "camber," but I do remember noticing and pointing out the rear tire angles.

I did not even think to get a measurement of the tread across the tire, but inside was competely bald and I did not even notice it 'til the road noise and driving dynamics screamed at me. The outside was pretty warn, but not down to the treadwear indicator. Mid tire was basically at the indicator. Mileage was right at 5,500 when I got into the shop, but it was perhaps 100 miles after the road noise became noticeable. I do look at the tires semi-regularly, but I always just glance at them while plugging in. Accordingly, I was just looking at the outer tread. That was a mistake, as I was getting pretty close to blow-out range when the noise turned up.

Picked up P85 two days ago. 21". It has Michelin Pilot Sports. Not sure which version. Does anyone have a link for this tire for sale anywhere?

It is these I believe but they are about $250 more than the Continental DWs. Tesla charges $398/tire (that includes installation) for the Continental DWs while TireRack charges $293 (that doesn't include installation). Can also check Indy Tyre.
