Based on Elon's profile photo on Twitter and his tweet "Model S product call at 11 today, Rocket discussion at noon on Monday." I think they are going to announce that the Model S has been chosen as 007's car for the next Bond movie! :)

It HAS to be the Model X design studio. If not now, when? They want to make some deliveries before the end of September, so a couple of weeks to configure your car and 4-6 weeks to manufacture it.

The only X reveal is in the delivery so there's nothing to show and it's a bit more than a routine press release type of announcement plus a Friday launch would make sense as most people work during the week so they'll have more time at the weekend to start looking at options to configure their car.

Sorry we already know it is about the Model S.

The first Model X will probably not be configured online through the design studio. I wouldn't look at that as the gate to deliveries in September.

Q3 deliveries will be Founders series. They will have seen the final design and configured privately under NDA. Delivery of Founder #1 will double as the public reveal. Design studio will open after that.
