2 cards like all models.Taking delivery of mine this Friday May 3rd. Out of curiosity does tesla still give two physical keys with Model S deliveries?
My 22 came with 2 keys so figured Id check.2 cards like all models.
No jk, if the entire supercharging team (a Tesla crown jewel) was laid off as the news claim, you can bet on that if this team ever existed. Ambient lights and front bumper cam are not what will save the demand for new teslasBumper cam team was laid off
The bumper cam is dead for all intents and purposes now.

I agree, they should have started with the tesla-bot team and the FSD team.Laying off the supercharger team seems like the last human resources they should have laid off. Having opened up the network to other manufacturers, they should be accelerating deployment and expansion. Dumbest decision I've seen in years or it's a sign of far more serious internal issues that we have yet to see.
I thought this rumor was totally nuts until Musk confirmed and confirmed expansion would not proceed at the previous pace when what needs is to accelerate. My suspicion is the way they'll deal with this is to up kwh prices on all superchargers to pressure folks to charge elsewhere when possible.
I think I have two laying around. If I can sell them for $60 plus shipping, DM me.I bought a factory key off of ebay still sealed in the bag for $82.
I did the same. But I'm finding I don't really need it now that they enabled UWB for us.I bought a factory key off of ebay still sealed in the bag for $82.
My Feb 2022 MSLR came with two fobs. There they sit, with the battery protect strips still installed, on the shelf where I put them when I came home after picking up the new car.I did the same. But I'm finding I don't really need it now that they enabled UWB for us.
And where would that $56B come from? (Tesla wasn't giving Elon $56B in cash, it was all stock options where Elon would have to pay Tesla to execute them.)56 Billion would go a long way to add new features that would increase demand and keep people employed on the MS line and supercharger team.
I definitely used it before the UWB update, the phone key was too hit or miss then. But now it's nearly 100% reliable. My Feb 2022 MSLR came with two fobs. There they sit, with the battery protect strips still installed, on the shelf where I put them when I came home after picking up the new car.
It's still like $40B at today's prices. More money than Tesla's made in its entire existenceAnd where would that $56B come from? (Tesla wasn't giving Elon $56B in cash, it was all stock options where Elon would have to pay Tesla to execute them.)
And given current stock prices it wouldn't be $56B anymore... (Not to mention the ~50% taxes.)
I bought one off eBay as well, by the time it arrived I realized I prefer to use my phone.I bought a factory key off of ebay still sealed in the bag for $82.
Mine came with 2 keys, I fully intended to use them as I did with my previous MS and expected the phone key to be flaky, but it has worked great for ~3 years and I'm so glad to not have to carry any keys anymoreI didn’t realize the phone would work so well.
