Do we know when the model S/X infotainment system will be upgraded from the old Tegra chipset to Intel?

I know that Model 3 is using intel. Hence it's so much faster and smoother.

Wow. That improvement is long overdue. Somewhat upsets me that they’ve been needing to fix the MCU on the previous vehicles but they just put a new one in these new cars. Kind of disappoints me because I feel like they won’t be fixing our junky laggy useless browser now.

I bought a fully loaded MS P100D in late oct '17 and fully loaded MS 100D in Dec '17, now both cars essentially have outdated hardware. . I guess I will hold off on ordering my 2 M3 reservations ready to configure, until any hardware changes needed are made first.
