Free Access to Tesla Toolbox

Green posted this less than an hour ago. You can get service portal access approved by going through service.tesla.cn.

You can then use that credentials to access Tesla toolbox (online and offline versions).

Green says its not a bug but I'd sign up asap in case it is.

I got it working but don't have a cable OR a Windows machine. Also can't add VIN for remote diagnostics.

Remote diagnostics is only for cars in EU after you put in a VIN data access request and its approved.

You should be able to access the web version of the tool without windows but you'll still need a cable I believe

I have my cable on order so will let you know when I get it.

I'm in the EU but I get an "invalid email address", might have something to do with the fact that it ends in .com.

I was able to create an online account, log in with it, download toolbox, but not setup toolbox using the credentials I created. :/

Did you get the confirmation email after registering? If so, you should be able to login.

I only get the register button.. no sign in option. (got the email confirming activation of account)

I Was able to get it setup and logged in for about a half hour connected to my X, but now I get wrong username/password. It must have got shut down.

I had access, lost access, then re-registered again and got auto approved again for access. Not sure if it’ll be permanent or not.

No choice for General Access + Diagnostic Software anymore. That's just great. What am I going to do with the diagnostic cable I just ordered.

Does this level of access to toolbox allow you to change configurations? I thought that was restricted to Tesla personnel only.

I downloaded it but does it even work without internet connectivity? As I read the manual I got the impression that that wasn't the case but I could be wrong. Don't have a PC (or cable) to try this out
