I spoke to a Roadster mechanic who said that you don't have to drop the battery in order to put in the side vents. You can poke up through the rear wheel wells with a long tool.

Would love to consider CF door sills for my 1.5. Rubber original equipment is shabby and easily worn. Just lost the knob to my dash light dimmer switch. Anyone know of a replacement source?

I searched and couldn't find any updates to this project. It looks like there's a demand for CF tail light surrounds and a few other parts. If there's still interest we'd love to spearhead the Roadster aftermarket initiative! What parts would you like to see?

Less expensive CF door sill covers.

The company that helped me out with my double DIN conversion can make just about any CF part for the Roadster. For my conversion they made a CF vent and CF bezel frame. They do great work at a great price but they can sometimes be slow to respond. Most of the staff are National Guardsman and they often work in the shop overnight. The owner tells me they are a Tesla certified repair shop as well.

The TSportline sills are $1,300/set and are said to be specifically for the Roadster.

I've reached out to On Rails Engineering about what options to select to match the Tesla parts. I'm almost ready to purchase their Steering Column, Instrument Binnacle(because it's all CF while the Tesla one still has some of the old plastic visible) and Airbag cover pieces.

I looked high and low for that weave. Finally found a place that had it but couldn't justify their minimum order. I was too busy building CANs. Maybe some day...
