Tesla's Supercharger Team was recently laid off. We discuss what this means for the company on today's TMC Podcast streaming live at 1PM PDT. You can watch on X or on YouTube where you can participate in the live chat.
Yeah they have it was listed same way they are now in inventory but not yet built
Edit - dang it they made me wrong looked at one listed for sale now with same specs and it no longer specifies it isn’t built yet just says avail for pickup at location… which can’t be right or they’d certainly...
model 3
Edit to add: in fact one should note the 2023 model 3’s so far only offer black interior and they appear to be selling fine with all other options mixed on.
Must need all the white seats for the model y demand which *I* find bullish.
I’m sure the vast majority are incoming 2023 long range models which aren’t actually in inventory yet. (I’m waiting on one (nov22-dec20th) and have been keeping an eye on local inventory)
Before the bot, I was worried elon would get bored of Tesla and dip out for space-x and neuralink.
His excitement about new projects at Tesla scares the hell out of some people.
just send the building blocks with the bots, they'll be our creators and raise us once they've created our habitat (superman-ish)
we keep finding new reasons we suck at space-life
This is my style to stay compfy. Too poor to do any buyin though, and sold all other positions except tesla last year to get by.
over 500 shares at under $80 avg, simple holder. If I wasn't a moron who tried years back to follow these same trendy swing traders who showed back up, I'd have over...
same old signs, brokerages nudging shares away from margin users, emails sent to people suggesting they diversify, someone actually looks to have requested reporter(s) create a story about damage done to margin-using tesla shareholders, meanwhile rando commenter$ show up to spread doubt and...
thinking too small, think hundreds, even thousands, packed into a Boring company compartment of a starship. Neuralinked avatars; deployed to mine asteroids/worlds, begin terra forming if applicable, build habitats, gather whatever resources are needed to continue exploration, etc., connected...
someone drags that radar shill thread into here once a week.
(last week everyone was selling their new mYs because of the constant fear of shadowbraking)
it is made clear in the paragraph right before that one.
"In addition to manually shifting gears on the touchscreen, you can select a gear by pressing a button located on the center console. In most situations, these buttons are not available until you press one of the gear buttons to activate...
the instructions he linked say "..these buttons are not available until you press one of the gear buttons to activate it."
(at end it also mentions that it auto-deactivates if you don't select a gear in 10 secs.)
This place has gone nuts with replies to the crybaby long-cons who overblow non-issues on purpose to tsla.
Elon didn't say tesla isn't going to make 500+mile cars (points to cybertruck 500+ range tri-motor first of all...)
He said he wants more of you rich brats to go ahead and buy the READY TO...
There should be no debate left for radar. With exponential growth of units on the road using radar, the number of false positives becomes far too abundant. Apparently it will end the phantom braking issue, one early symptom of too much radar on the roads already for their old fsd path.
yeah we're all aware of the obvious here, what's not common is for tesla to make people shell out extra for nearly every single used 3 (and now Y) in inventory at quarter end. Usually they leave a lot more without FSD to make whatever they can while unloading more product (LR3s are piling up...
Reminds me of something i always wanted to see; perched, staying charged atop each supercharger, "chargee-McDroneface" ... ready to fly off and suction upon the glasstop of a passing tesla on the highway....and so on you get the idea.
side-note: also always wanted/needed a fleet of dragonfly...
"not a good look for Tesla"
this GF3 rendering:
vs reality:
Obviously the logo is in the wrong place and the trucks are almost entirely the wrong color.
Can we maybe get some money back to help survive all these record quarters?
An amazing q3 is wrapping up. China, Germany, Texas, oh my! :)
I'm seeing more model 3s and Ys every day around town.
Ima go with the old standard in times like these:
so tessie does a 5 to 1 dividend ninja split, then MS and BoA go from permabear oil investment marketeers to sudden reversals on tesla. Nothing fishy there move along.
False. I see no evidence to suggest the system isn't perfectly capable as is, the network will simply not allow a vehicle to perform among the fleet until sensors are all functional (manually cleaned off on cars/trucks without an automated future-feature in the rare instances where they become...
see how easy it is to flush out the shills and their alts in here? funnest part is watching posts evolve into FUD articles by the usual suspects the following week.
in regards to this weekend's "Doubt" discussion (completely naturally introduced i'm sure) on Tesla's FSD approach, last year Tesla filed a patent for an automated laser cleaning system for glass on vehicles and solar panels. (the option to keep Summer safe won't be immediately available)
We all should see how this will likely play out now.... Elon tours of a few pyramids & swiftly figures out the reboot sequence, reactivating the long-dormant worldwide grid. Then the builders return....
just be careful during these troubled times - being bored at home, down about the news and market reaction - go easy on the booze! I made my share of bad decisions, including this post from october 2018 "i was a little bummed earlier by the rockefeller effect on price, but exactly one bottle...
 My crystal ball says futures look decent. Pre-Markets
Doom is what the banks sell when they want to scare the huddled masses into selling their positions. Not gonna get shook by any noise, will only sell a little bit to cover my cybertruck when its finally time.
rather off-putting that every weekend porsche reps try to peddle their overpriced products in a tesla investment thread. I guess they figure most people here can afford them, so might as well give it a shot. Still, pretty desperate.
I checked my local inventory at 6am this morning and 45 was down to 41; the SR+ that was added a little while ago is already gone. I think a lot of lucky people are getting Model 3s for valentines day.
late last night I noticed 45 New Model 3s appear in local inventory (SE florida) - first new batch of the quarter to show up here, they were all AWD or performance. Now there's just 1 $66k all the bells and whistles performance model left.
*while writing this I refreshed the inventory page...
in other extremely important investor news: Men's Medium Cybertruck shirts are back in stock!!! (I ordered mine before breaking the news because I have a selfish streak)
