Toronto to New York city - trip planning

Probably because they have a LOT of used cars there.

I asked a salesman while I was charging there a couple of months ago, and he said they were getting lots of trade-ins from people who either (a) change their car every two years, (b) want the P85D, and/or (c) want the autopilot feature. I also saw a number of cars that obviously had been in collisions (not really serious ones, but a fair bit of damage to body panels).
 
We stayed at a Hilton. The car was valet parked at a private lot beside the hotel. I enabled valet mode and took note of the condition of the car and mileage and last 10km of energy use.
I wasn't worried, the lot had a car elevator and they had just parked a Porsche ahead of us, so it was secure.
No harm befell it.
