Many BMW models and models from other manufacturers have not provided a spare for years.
So for me, not having a spare for for the Y did not seem strange. However, in my last BMW I had a very bad experience with so called Run Flats and consequently carried a spare thereafter. Of course, I never needed it.
PS I don't believe any other manufacturers support their vehicles with a Ranger for the first four years.
PPS Holts Foam works well with acoustic lined tyres.
