When I visited the Tesla showroom in Charlotte a couple of weeks ago, they told me that they were breaking ground on the Columbia SC SC "next week"; however, I have not been able to confirm that it happened.
Most of the pre-opening information on supercharge.info comes from posters here on TMC and on the Tesla Motors forums.I will stay optimistic, but supercharge.info does not even show a permit yet.
I occasionally need to make trips to Columbia and Charleston. These will make that much more convenient.I was told that Columbia and Charleston were coming in the next month or so. Both would be very welcomed.
Both locations would be awesome.I was told that Columbia and Charleston were coming in the next month or so. Both would be very welcomed.
Nothing in Charleston yet - closest one is Santee which is a bit out of the way when you're coming east on I-26 to Charleston. Columbia and Charleston would make my life a lot easier.i thought there was in charlston ?

I would guess Richland county.ya thats what i wanna know .. i thought about looking up the permits but don't now what county it would be in
I would guess Richland county.
I would guess Richland county.
I tried searching for permits in Richland county, but I came up blank when searching for Tesla.
Well, if you get a PDF, I can index it.I've found some particularly antiquated local governments don't have their permits in a machine searchable system - e.g. in a database which prevents google indexing, or in a PDF which is stored as scanned images (i.e. text is not searchable). In cases like this it can involve manual flicking through hundred-page PDFs looking for a glimpse of any mention of Tesla, charging or EVs.

In any hemisphere, Adobe Acrobat (not Reader) can OCR the document and make it searchable. It takes a while, but you can do other stuff. The ones I'm looking at relate to local governments around 9800 miles from you
