Any idea on the permitting progress for the Supercharger? Anyone been to the site?

I think we'll be lucky to have this one operational by Christmas. It's not permitted yet and from the site notes, it seems there has been at least one review postponed/cancelled. Doesn't bode well for a speedy completion. Until there is a permit, there won't be any site activity.
Anyone have good charging suggestions for Charlotte around Thanksgiving?

The Whole Foods market in Huntersville is brand new and has charging stations right up front. You can grab a beer and hot food inside. You're also within walking distance to Birkdale Village.

Good news on the permit progress. As soon as it's approved I'll get down there and snap some photos for you guys.

Here's a pic I stole of the charging sites at Whole Foods.

Some updates to the permitting process. Looks like the site plan has been approved by the zoning office. Still waiting on building, electrical, and fire approvals.

LOL on the accessible parking...
But on a more serious note: looks like there are some problems with the Electrical Review:

Looks like someone decided to get a little obsessive about the plans, and prove they were needed in the department... Very similar plans have already passed review in over 125 locations nation-wide, and over 250 locations world-wide.

And Sagamore has absolutely NOTHING on Greenville, SC. It has been months and as far as anyone can tell it is still hung!

To be fair, Sagamore was held up by local inspection issues (code interpretation and electrician credentials), whereas Greenville, SC has been a NIMBY issue with the neighbor.

Let's home Greenville, AL goes faster, also on I-85!!!

Cheyenne SpC was built on top of a mall irrigation (drain?) system. Yes, directly above it. Some of you may have seen the digging project directly under the stockade to replace a busted section of irrigation piping this past summer. Reminded me of the type of multi-level workings going on under the streets of Manhattan (NYC) on a daily basis. The job got done just fine but could easily have presented a problem if at the same time Tesla had issues with its equipment. But you can be sure somebody took a hit from this one (inspector's worst nightmare).
