I am of the mindset that this is not a lack of quality control but purposeful malfeasance and fraud...received my new model y in March of 2021. Immediately started hearing creaks and took it in. 7 return visits later they still can't fix it and I gave them recordings of the noise and finally I looked under the seat at the undercarriage and I saw this...visible rust on multiple part of the seat undercarriage. Heading back in in Feb bc that is the earliest they could schedule. Right now they are only looking to replace the bottom of the seat instead of the whole seat but man I can't understand what they heck they were doing the first 7 visits if all I had to do was look under the seat and its not genius work to see the seats are rusted junk.
