Tesla's Supercharger Team was recently laid off. We discuss what this means for the company on today's TMC Podcast streaming live at 1PM PDT. You can watch on X or on YouTube where you can participate in the live chat.
80% SOC should be able to go 155 miles without having to drive like a grandma. I frequently drive to San Diego (~100 miles one way) and do +/-10mph over speed limit, leave with 90% SOC and arrive with ~45%-50% remaining. Granted I know everyone's situation and condition are different.
I have "1" on the Tesla app icon as well. Can't seem to get rid of it. I've opened the app and clicked on every tab and screen there is and the "1" is still there.
I tried many phone mounts and this is the one I like most. The mount can be angled towards the driver. Also note that I installed the swivel screen mount as well. Amazon link
except if you're behind someone who doesn't want to or doesn't know how to leap frog and back-up to the next open pump, but instead she/he (mostly she) waits for the car immediately in front of her to finish pumping.
HA you're right, I just went out to check and the backup view doesn't shrink when the two repeater cameras are on, the size is fixed. I guess what I'm trying to say is it's too distracting to me to see three camera views on the screen as I'm backing up.
80% of my use is during off peak hours, primarily because peak hour is 5 hrs out of 24 (80%). I'm very conscious of not running high electrical appliances btw 4-9pm.
I drive to San Diego often (105 miles one way). I charge to 90% (296 miles) before my departure which would be plenty for a round trip, but driving at 75-80 mph I arrive with 45-50% remaining, and the nav is indicating I'll be down to ~10% on my return. That's a little bit out of my comfort zone...
someone mentioned in another post that it might be due to the bioweapon box not being properly seated... Water found in passenger front footwell on 2021 Model Y
the posts should probably be combined
I worked at several banks many many years ago as a teller. If a client flagged a cashier's check as fraud/stolen we immediately put a stop payment on that check and flag it as such. If the fraudster tries to cash the check at the issuing financial institution, the fraud prompt will come up on...
Sounds like you went to Rodz Tint Shop because that's exactly the percentages they recommended, and that's what I did to mine, but I tinted the roof at 50%.
Not sure if it's appropriate to post pricing or if the vendor would like that, but I suggest calling around several places recommended in the forum. They're all pretty competitive.
Looks totaled, just let insurance handle it. No injuries, no need for lawyer. You might actually get a pretty good payout and recovery given today's high market prices.
Makes me wonder where else they're using non-treated steel where it's not visible. Also wondering if older production date models are showing greater deterioration. Everyone... look under your seats!
Here's mine. Sept-2021 build. Not as bad as OP's but could get worse over time? Looks to be surface and not structural. Do we need to apply some sort of the Rust-Oleum or what to a new car?
You're right, it REALLY does depend, it depends on your perspective. If you were one of the affected owners, you would consider it a disaster and nearly the end of the world.
Thanks! Although I don't see my software version under the Software Update History tab, I do like the other tabs (i.e. Tesla Voice Commands). I guess my software version doesn't have the option to turn off side mirror dimming - want to turn it off because I just tinted my windows and the...
Got my Y yesterday and just installed my A-Premium mud guards today. I think it looks good, fits good. Next week is tint day. :D Still debating whether to PPF the front or not, but definitely will PPF the rocker panels.
My vin is 275xxx so one of those could be mine. I'm tentatively schedule to take home delivery today 9/30 from Buena Park. My SA called yesterday saying it's coming down from Fremont but they haven't received the shipment yet.
My EDD was late October, but on 9/26 I received the text to schedule delivery for 9/30. With all the mad rush to book sales and deliver before QE I hope they haven't sacrificed build quality.
Ordered 5/6 and got my VIN today, 275XXX. Received text msg stating "we currently expect your Model Y to be built in the next 2-3 days. Select your tentative appointment now for your touchless delivery". This makes me think they want my payment to book for quarter-end but I will not be able to...
