I'm most curious to see what this does for 60' times. The tt99x and GTRs see 1.5s when hopped up a bit. That is a "free" .15 seconds in the quarter for Model S if it could match those numbers.

Brooks,
If you are tracking this stuff, is it time for a visit to the Service Center for a software push? Sure would like some VBox data.

So the good news is that it sounds like there is a software upgrade to deliver more of what was promised after all. The less good news is that it's in the form of launch control, meaning that what ludicrous mode already delivers in passing power is all we are going to get. Despite this, it sounds like the ludicrous upgrade is worthwhile for P85D owners.

That is the power tools info. I was at a red light so I had to enable and then reenable 2-3 times. You can see the power build up before the launch.

O-60 was recorded at 3.5 however we all know the accuracy of that and it also wasn't ideal road conditions. Tires and Car have over 28k miles on them.

Did my first supercharge to 90% since getting the upgrade. I didn't use max battery but I did turn it on for about 30 seconds at 85%. I started charging from 39% so the battery was good and warm from charging for a while. The max battery said Est 5 minutes, so it appears that charging in cold weather for a while still doesn't bring the battery up to exactly the temperature that max battery will but it's really close.

I punched it on the freeway after charging while at 90% and pulled 253KW which I think is only 3KW less than Pete's.

That said, did I see AWDTesla say he'd gotten 468KW on his P90D???? Does anyone have any logs for something more than 456KW?

I did a quick 0-60 in my P85D pre-L. I'm planning on grabbing more data prior to the upgrade and will post back to back numbers for various runs. Having 100 Hz data directly off the car's CAN bus is very nice.

Thanks for linking the other thread (just replied in that one too). I'm hoping you can do a bunch more testing and share your max power (and current) draws in various conditions!
