The NH DOT > EV Charging Infrastructure page added a link to this NEVI press release on February 28th, 2024.
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) has conditionally awarded $2.8M in federal funds as part of the State’s Phase 1 National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Program in conjunction with the State of New Hampshire Plan for Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Deployment

. The NEVI program provides approximately $17.2 million to New Hampshire over a five-year period to deploy fast and reliable electric vehicle charging stations along alternative fuel corridors. The goal of the NEVI program, part of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, is to locate half a million new charging stations along major travel routes throughout the country.

Phase 1 of New Hampshire’s NEVI plan provides a framework to develop a network of EV charging stations along the major travel corridors of I-93 and NH 16. The State’s vision is to strategically deploy an interconnected and equitable network of public electric vehicle charging infrastructure to encourage electric vehicle travel, maintain economic competitiveness, and stimulate public-private sector collaboration in the State of New Hampshire. For more information visit the EV Charging Infrastructure website page.

NHDOT will be providing nearly $3M in grants. Four projects were selected to expand access and charging reliability in New Hampshire. The conditional awards, and the associated locations for the chargers, will go to:

• Revision Energy, White Mountain Visitor Center, North Woodstock
• Gridwealth EV, 75 Laconia Road, Tilton
• Gridwealth EV, 127 Market Place Blvd, Rochester
• Global Montello Group , Global Mobil Mart, Sanbonville

Projects will begin after National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) completion and NH Governor and Council approval. Projects may begin in mid to late 2024.
My understanding is the NH NEVI sites must support both CCS and NACS.

Because they're also NACS sites.
Or because you have an adapter and the site is more convenient, or cheaper, or both.

Not all of us have a Supercharger location as the closest site.
Unless they are Superchargers they won't work with older Tesla's. NACS uses the CCS authentication protocol which is Ethernet over Power, the standard Tesla bus uses the CAN bus. Tesla isn't offering a charge port upgrade for Model 3s. The promised one a couple of years ago but it never materialized.

It's a reasonably easy process to upgrade the port. Have you attempted to make an apointment at a service center.

Why should we care about CCS sites?
They're not specifically CCS sites. Anyone taking funds must include NACS and CCS. This, of course, includes Tesla if they wanted a portion of the funds.

I don't think they applied for it so they don't need to include CCS support. I do wish they'd upgrade V1 and V2 at some point so that they can say they've got CCS support, albeit with adaptor or Magic Dock.
