I saw the recent videos and have to say that it looks pretty nice but its much more of a Model 3 competitor. I bet loaded up, its mid $50k and that puts it squarely against the M3P which would smoke it in performance and range. It will be like the Polestar 2....those who absolutely hate Tesla and want something else.

Local pricing for the top tier option (twin motor performance ultra) has been released here in Australia and with current conversion rates it equates to ~47k USD. With a claimed 3.6s 0-100km/h (3.4s 0-60) time and 460km (285 mile) range, it's a pretty spicy package if they can get the software side together.

This vehicle certainly has its place in the market, but to call it a Model Y competitor is absurd.

Looks deceive, especially from the angle in the picture. The EX30 is (much) smaller than the Model Y.
Volvo's C40 is about the same size as the Y.

Even the XC40 is noticeably smaller than the Y. Very small and cramped inside with much less cargo space.

EX30 is almost 2 feet shorter than a Model Y. It is not a Model Y competitor. If it was, the Model Y would be the better value with the standard equipment, space, storage.
