Interesting! AP2 MCU1 Tesla notified my of a red light

I have firmware version 2020.12.11.5 with FSD

I was driving today and the safety beep came on (the one that notifies you to stop right away).
I had spotted the red light and was stopping. The car still notified me and displayed a red light logo on the dash. I have never seen this before! Seems like the car is watching even though its not showing visuals

Emergency notification RE potential red light running has been in all AP2+ firmwares for like a year now. To be fair you’ve gotta be REALLY close to running a red light for it to activate in most cases.

It's improved with recent updates. Previously you did have to be practically running it. But now it warns a little bit sooner. At least that's been my experience anyway. I never saw the warning before, but got it twice this month. And I'm able to reproduce it without feeling like I actually need to run the light

There used to be an IC display error where the red of the red light would stay on and shine through the speed limit sign. Needed to reboot ic to clear it. Fixed after 2020.8.1 from what I saw.
