I really hate complaining. But Tesla screwed up this time.
Got text a couple weeks ago that I could schedule delivery. Had it scheduled for this coming Monday.
I have been through this rodeo before. This time, to help keep things smooth, I decided to go with Tesla Finance because how could that get screwed up.
Well it did. My delivery specialist somehow wiped out my financing today when trying to do my MVPA. It is just gone from my account. Called Tesla Finance. They don't know how to fix. They even tried to say they don't offer it in my state. I have 3 friends in my state who financed with Tesla, one as recent as last week.
They tell me I am required to do third party financing. Well I can do that easily enough but it isn't going to get done in time for Monday. My delivery center (3 hours away) called today and I explained what was going on. They were dumbfounded by the stupidity.
BTW, my MVPA wouldn't have been done either if I had not hounded my delivery specialist.
My delivery specialist called me after the call with Tesla Finance and said she would change my MVPA to third party financing. Guess what. Still not done.
I just don't understand how Tesla still doesn't know how to sell cars.
