I think that’s a good point you are calling out. IMO, the throttle does indeed feel more linear/direct.

Got back from a 300 mile road trip over the weekend. Happy to report the Wh/mi figures are the same pre-boost vs post-boost. I saw no change in efficiency and averaged 263 Wh/mi on my road trip which is identical to the pre-boost figures for the same route.

***Update*** Tesla was able to push the update through. I got in my car and it automatically went through a reboot phase. Not ALL deliveries are full of defects as one might assume after spending too much time in these threads. I took delivery yesterday of a near perfect MY. Most of the people who receive clean deliveries simply don’t write a review because they’re too busy having fun in their new Tesla!

For context, I never received the first mass text so you could still have chance. The VIN showed up in my source today. As I was replying to this, I got the schedule delivery text. Scheduled for pickup this Saturday 6/27.

Vin got assigned this morning after receiving the mass text on Sunday... looks like I'll actually get the end of quarter delivery!

Congrats and really cool that turnaround between receiving VIN and scheduling delivery time is so short! Just curious, how did you receive your VIN? Email, text or source code?

Agreed. To knowingly push out rejected vehicles (without disclosure) would be a risky action for Tesla. Not saying it’s impossible, but I hesitate to believe that.
