If I were in your position, I would choose a variation of Option 4. Do a 2 year lease on a new 100D (with an option to extend the least by a year). This way, you will get to drive a brand new Tesla, not commit to it for the longer term, and wait for Tesla to iron out bugs in the Model S refresh (if that happens at all).

I'm assuming I'd have to do lease through a 3rd party? I'm not sure Tesla offers 2 year lease?

Hmm, Tesla used to do the 24 month lease. Looks like they don't do those anymore

Tesla did offer a two year lease, at least in Q3/2016 to sell lots of AP1 cars just before AP2 came.

My OA said the 2 year lease is still available, just not advertised.
