Only the calendar day, not the weekday or the year (although I usually don't forget what year it is!).

1. Agreed on the date display. I liked having it there.
2. Are the tire pressures available from the sensors? Some have said that the sensors in the earlier cars provide only "ok"/"not ok". Some have said that they've seen tire pressure info on a diagnostic service screen. Which is correct?
3. I think I figured out the rationale for moving the P R N D indication. It's now in line with the stalk for selecting the "drive mode". So maybe for those new to the car this will make more sense. Much like they changed the turn signal stalk on newer cars - makes much more sense, but initially causes confusion when coming from one of the older cars.
I don't as I prefer km, degrees C, Wh/km, km/h, etc.

I am still waiting for 7 - I thought everyone was supposed to be updated within 5 days? And my car is on wifi for at least 12 hours every night.Well, there's that! This was just a screen grab from another post about a guy who hypermiled his way to 550 miles on one charge. It made me sad to see the old dash compared to what I have now.

I don’t know about the idiots at Tesla, but they sure seem smart, in that they can make your Tesla display change when you you press on a MacBook Pro screen!I have to press the charge icon on the Macbook Pro 17" screen to see how much charge I have left. What idiot at Tesla came up with this?
Haven't you seen the several large threads on this?Personally, I don't like it. I got mine last Friday and the thing that bothers me the most is when in NAV mode, the lane indication icon when active, covers the charge icon in the lower left of the dashboard. Dumb!

I don't like the buttons either. Too plain. Looks like IOS 9 on an Apple Device.
I also was looking for larger phone buttons on the screen so when dialing and driving, one doesn't make a mistake.
This should have been a priority for safety reasons.
The nav lane change graphic is only present for a few seconds -- occasionally -- when nav is running. I do not understand the urgency to see the battery charge icon on the drivers display during those brief period. And when you have nav running, the trip planner will tell you if and when and where you need to stop and charge.the thing that bothers me the most is when in NAV mode, the lane indication icon when active, covers the charge icon in the lower left of the dashboard. I only have 3G access but I'm not sure if that has any impact on when I receive the update...?
This kind of goes in cycles. Like with anything really. The current trend is flat UI and minimalism everywhere.I find this whole thing interesting. To me, it seems "old fashioned"... the way software used to look before processors became powerful enough to make it look appealing.
Have spent an hour with 7. Some things are definitely better but the overall look is a little off.
Although I can probably live with the rest, I have to examine it more. (Drove off today with 7 installed and had to wait 30 minutes for the 3G to even show up. I'm switching to LTE tomorrow…)
