I have a June 2018 75D with 22K and I do about 50/50 home and SC. I have been at about 241 miles since about 15K. It hasn't really moved since - I suspect it plateaus there and the degradation really slows down at that point. I think I have 70 usable based on adding 50% adds 35kWh.I’m curious what sort of degradation people have seen on their 75Ds.
I’ve driven 21,000 miles on my Dec 2017 build and my rated range is down to 240 miles at this point. This is down from 245 in the last 1000 miles driven. Per Remote S, I have 68.6 kWh usable. Does this seem normal or excessive?
Anyone else care to share?
Took delivery of a new software limited S60D in Jan 2017.
100% range of my S60D - which I consider to be the same as an 86% charge on an S75D - was 218. (This also implies a 253 rated range if my car was delivered as an S75D.)
Since I took delivery I have unlocked the battery from 60 (i.e. 86%) to 75 (i.e. 100%) and my current 100% charge range is 237 as an S75D.
86% of 237 comes to 204, suggesting a 14 mile, or 6.4%, battery degradation based off the 100% range at delivery of the software limited S60D (or 16-mile degradation of 6.4% based off the implied 253 S75D rated range).
Current mileage on my car is ~69k.
No, because there’s no problem and they aren’t going to do anything for you.75 - Oct 2016 build. I'm getting 201/225 for over 18 months now. At 225, we are talking over 10 percent degradation. Should I take it in for service?
You got a good one for sure. I’m at nearly 4x the mileage of you, but have lost 13% of my range from new.Update/Summary:
8 miles: 252
8,900 miles: 251
15,500 miles: 251
25,500 miles: 248

I'd say about 50% of my miles are supercharged, and I often charge past 90%

75D reached 113kW at the new V3 charger in Williams CA. 393 mi/hr. Great to see the V3 chargers still have an improvement for the older model S/X.I hit 105 for a few minutes today (I was at 22% at the time). 2018 75D 22K
Those are not V3 speeds.. the car's firmware is allowing for higher charging rates, it has nothing to do with it being a V2 vs V3 charger.75D reached 113kW at the new V3 charger in Williams CA. 393 mi/hr. Great to see the V3 chargers still have an improvement for the older model S/X.
My 75D will max out at 114kW at any non-urban SuperCharger since they bumped up the SuC charging rates last year (from 120kW to 150kW). You are not seeing anything related to V3.75D reached 113kW at the new V3 charger in Williams CA. 393 mi/hr. Great to see the V3 chargers still have an improvement for the older model S/X.
Probably never. Tesla isn't going to do anything about it unless it fails.I've got a 2017 MX 75D, took delivery in Dec. It's got about 43k mi on it, and at 100% I'm at 214 mi .... this is very concerning. Based on other reports here it sounds like I'm seeing more degradation than others. At what point should I raise this with Tesla?
Model X 75D was 238 rated miles when new, so you’ve lost ~9%. That’s not particularly bad or abnormal and Tesla isn’t going to do anything for you.I've got a 2017 MX 75D, took delivery in Dec.
