I don’t think lack of stalks is a significant reason for dropping demand, but, it doesn’t help for sure

You are not alone, once they announced stalkless model 3, I bought a 2023 M3P. Hopefully, another bad quarter or two will make them change course. Nobody ever didn’t buy a car because it had stalks, but, there are many buyers like me who don’t want a car without stalks.

Yeah, no stalks and lower range compared to my 2023, I’m out too.

I drive both an M3P and an S regularly, I think both are excellent. For parking, autopark works great on both, although, summon is still not available on my 3

I think they have been losing a lot of potential buyers for lack of stalks. I would replace both my 3 and S if they offered choices. I know most people say you get used to it, but, if I’m paying 90k/50k for a new car, I wouldn’t want to compromise

And offer more choices, like stalks even at an additional cost. I would order 2 new cars to replace mine

That’s really the main point here. Rather than improving quality of their cars and customer experience, they are making changes that nobody needs or cares about. In last 30+ years of driving, not once have I thought my driving experience could be better if the car didn’t have stalks

I think it’s just incompetence. If you believe “analysts” predictions of lower delivery numbers for this quarter, it looks like demand is lower YoY

That’s the reason I bought a 23 M3P and refused to replace my S with another. Had a friend test drive an X recently, he ended up buying an Audi EV, lack of stalks was a major factor in his decision as well. Hopefully, after another crappy quarter, Tesla changes course and give customers more...

I’ve had 3 different model 3 cars in last 5 years, never experienced this. Neither have I experienced this on my S that I’ve had for 4 years.

Or, do what a lot of people do and not buy the car without stalks.

And autopark. Funny how people think something they don’t have, must be useless to everyone.

I have been driving a 2020 S for 4 years, never had a problem with IC visibility, have never thought once that the driving experience could be better without stalks. With seat and steering wheel being adjustable, one should not have these problems

Tesla is claiming free speech defense in CA lawsuit about misleading advertising of FSD I don’t think FSD is ever going to happen, question is when can people start demanding a refund.

They could make the deposit 1k or more, but, they will have significant increase in rejections too I think

Seems more like devolving, all one has to do is go from a car that had USS to one without. It’s been several months and money updates, it’s mind numbingly stupid

It’s unfortunate, but, knowing Tesla, you should never let go of the old car unless you’ve taken delivery of the new car and confirmed the transfer of the features from the old car to the new one.

The reason they offered FUSC on 2020 model S was because they wanted to clear inventory before the 2021 refresh

Give it another year. Maybe, they have been able to fix this problem. Although, given TeslaVision sh!t and vibration problem on new S, I doubt it.

I think it’s going to be okay. Three new cars I’ve picked up from Tesla service centers have all been okay. As long as you’re not measuring panel gaps with a ruler, you will be fine. It has not taken more than 15 minutes for me to pick up a car and 2 of them were inventory cars. I was more...

There’s still 10 weeks left, guess we will see. It’s not just FUSC, free connectivity is also not there anymore. You’ll lose FSD functionality like summon and auto park. It’s been almost 10 months since they removed USS, if they get that working, I will bite.

If Q4 results are going to be as bad as Q3, you can bet on another price drop. Looking at the latest FUSC offer, it almost seems like a certainty.

Assuming this car has USS, does the summon and auto park work?

My car ((2023 M3P) is always saying I’m parked on a pavement 😀 while on my 2018 M3 , autopark works perfectly

Most people with free supercharging also have free connectivity, so I won’t be downgrading. Besides, no parking sensors on a 90K car 🙁

I’m wondering the same. I have never used hazard lights in my car, I guess it’s okay to get rid of them?

I don’t think that’s accurate. On my 2018 model 3, it autopark works 80% of time.

Don’t know about that, I drove in a small town in eastern India for 10 years, used horn more than I used the accelerator pedal. Even then, had to get out of the car to move the cow from the middle of the road all the time 😀

You can easily buy a 2021 plaid for that much. Both performance and luxury (?)
