I think most delivery centers don’t let you inside the vehicle prior to accepting, so panel gap might be the only thing you can look at to determine functionality of FWD. Seems like we have all drank the koolaid to accept these risks with FWD successful operation.

I had a BMW lease. Sold back to a BMW dealership. Offer was $3-4k more than Carvana and the Tesla trade in value, plus simpler than needing to do the payoff myself to BMWFS and selling to a third party.

Definitely spoiled by EVs! The base Long Range model is nearly as quick as the top of the line ICE competition: BMW X5M Competition, Audi RSQ8, Mercedes Benz AMG GLE 63 S. All 3 run the 0-60 in 3.7 sec, so a tenth of a second quicker than the MXLR.

Is this an official service offered by Tesla? Only see the Yoke -> Steering wheel retrofit option. Based on my demo drive I would prefer the yoke, but given the $250 (at the time) would place it above the IRA $7500 credit threshold, couldn’t justify essentially paying $7750 for it 😂

New EDD this morning—MSM Base Model in Central FL Order Date: September 3 EDD1: October 8 - November 12 EDD2: October 20 - November 24 EDD3: November 8 - December 13 No VIN assigned Seems like I should have opted for Ultra Red or another color based on these other updates 😂

My EDD starts tomorrow 10/20 through November 24th, still no VIN though so that start range isn’t happening 😂!

EDD changed today, was 10/8 - 11/12. Now 10/20 - 11/24. No VIN yet. IRA edition in Midnight Silver Metallic - Central Florida

You should be able to determine model year by the VIN itself. If the 10th character is P it’s 2023, R is 2024
