Can we please discuss hypothetical Supercharger setups in a more appropriate thread?

We supercharge.info editors tend to read every post in the Supercharger location forums looking for updates on site buildouts. Talking about 350 kW long cable this-and-that adds a lot of noise to the signal.

So, now the long wait for a transformer begins. It took a few months at the other Newark SC. Hopefully, it will be faster this time. Tri-city is about to be covered in SCs.

Counted 22 stalls, though I did this quickly.

Looks like 6 cabinets which will support 21-24 stalls. From pictures, looks like 13 pull in spots, then 2 back in ADA then 6 more pull in and 1 back in spot.

Passed by today. No more tape. Transformer is there. Stalls and cabinets are covered though.

Drove by today and saw a bunch of PG&E trucks and people working inside the cabinets. I’ll check tomorrow and see what it looks like.

Seems the project manager for this location should be re-assigned… just when we thought Tesla had worked out this process, getting slabs and supercharger permitting down to a well established process. Oh well.

A couple nighttime pictures from when I did a touch-and-go charge here.

These stalls are all head-in except for the destination chargers and the handicapped-accessible stalls. I found them surprisingly hard to pull in to, either the traffic aisle is a little narrow, or I've gotten too used to backing into Supercharger stalls. There didn't appear to be any "EV charging only" signage, so I wonder how much these spaces are going to get ICE-d by hotel guests.
