    Supercharger - Danville, CA - 3380 Black Hawk Plaza (LIVE 4 Jun 2024, 16 V4 stalls)

V4 is designed for other makes (longer cables, built in CCS). $0.44 is cheaper than EA and others. Tesla doesn’t NEED to do anything involving taking a loss to draw business.
  2. Mrbrock

Supercharger - Elizabethtown, KY - N Mulberry St

There is an active supercharger in town already. Any particular reason you need this new one? If it’s active, it’ll show up in the Tesla app and shortly thereafter on supercharge.info.
  3. Mrbrock

Supercharger - Kaneohe, HI - Kaneohe Bayview Golf Course

Nowhere on the planet has V4 cabinets. When people say V4, this is what is meant. The V4 cabinets are not a change in architecture or design so they may never be referred to as V4 while the posts definitely are a change in design and architecture.

    Supercharger- Seattle, WA - Meridian Ave N (under construction Jan 2024, 12 V3 + L2)

Check out this site. Similar timeframe for construction starting and stalls being placed and it just got turned on today. That means these sites are being finished. When you subtract all the common denominators you are left with the utility company...

    Supercharger- Seattle, WA - Meridian Ave N (under construction Jan 2024, 12 V3 + L2)

This site has only been “dormant” for less than 2 months. My theory is the same as everyone else, there is no transformer so they are waiting for that. Sites are continuing to be built and turned on. This is one of those sites in progress so it will be finished. Be patient. If you don’t want to...

    Supercharger - Chemult, OR - US-97 (under construction April 2024, 8 V3 stalls)

These are definitely prefab. There are junction boxes mounted to each cabinet so they can be placed without the wiring already being run under the cabinets. There’s probably not a good spot near the factory to test a site designed for trailering. And since these are prefab, they can wire them...

    Supercharger - Bossier City, LA

Sites have been turned on over the last month. Maybe not as fast as normal but here is someone doing it. Check supercharge.info for changes in the last month.

    Supercharger - Bossier City, LA

Now they just need the provisioning team.

Supercharger - Gilbert, AZ - N Higley Rd (cancelled)

Keeping searching and check out the page specifically for the Mesa suoercharger and you’d have your answer why it’s temporarily closed. It’s being updated to V4 charge posts. https://teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/threads/supercharger-mesa-az.263750/page-7 Id check out supercharge.info for the latest...

Supercharger - Tehachapi, CA (permit, 40 stalls)

While this zoning variance was approved over a year ago, there are no applications for building at this site.

    Supercharger - Bel Air/Belcamp, MD

    Ok, that makes sense. Thanks!

    Supercharger - Chemult, OR - US-97 (under construction April 2024, 8 V3 stalls)

Yep, my bad. I was thinking how they pull in forward and use the opposite side charger now because of the shorter cables. With the pull through they’ll just stop farther back and with the open lot they won’t block the driving aisle. But to my point, vehicles with passenger side charge points...

    Supercharger - Chemult, OR - US-97 (under construction April 2024, 8 V3 stalls)

When you have the space, this layout is the most friendly although non teslas like F150 will want to ignore the arrows and go in the other way to have the connector on the proper side.
  14. Mrbrock

    Supercharger- Seattle, WA - Meridian Ave N (under construction Jan 2024, 12 V3 + L2)

Depends on the individual utility and when they were given a timeline for the site and placed the order. The Burlington site had a permit applied 9/8/22. That’s 21 months ago so lots of lead time to get a transformer ordered and delivered. This site was applied for 10/20/23, over a year later...

    Supercharger - Bel Air/Belcamp, MD

Are there still 4 cabinets on site as pictured above? Odd that there were more cabinets on site than built out stalls.
  16. Mrbrock

    Supercharger - Chemult, OR - US-97 (under construction April 2024, 8 V3 stalls)

And a switchgear cabinet. Two pas peeking between the SC cabinets.
  17. Mrbrock

    Supercharger - McBride, BC

Did you get a chance to look at the meter? If the display is on then there’s power at the transformer and just waiting on Tesla. If not, then still waiting on power company. It would seem weird to have a meter installed but not powered.
  18. Mrbrock

Supercharger - Upland, CA (under construction Jan 2024, 64 V3 stalls)

They definitely missed a beat. Looking at SC.info, there has been a major slowdown of sites being turned on recently. And new permits being found. But not a complete stop, so there is hope it will pick back up.
  19. Mrbrock

    Supercharger - Arvada, CO - W 56th Ave

Hmm, the fact that the bases are in would point towards them being installed now. Usually when things like that are in a permit as Phase 2, they don’t get built during Phase 1. The permit lists them as a separate S.O.W. (scope of work) so for them to be built out means that permit also has to...

    Supercharger - Arvada, CO - W 56th Ave

Protect how? They will just be regular parking spots for now.
  21. Mrbrock

    Supercharger - Temple, TX

Very doubtful. The 800v vehicles can use MB.
  22. Mrbrock

Supercharger - Jordan Valley, OR (permit submitted 5/6/24, 8 V4)

Considering the fees haven’t even been paid for the permit to be reviewed, we are likely in for a bit of a wait.
  23. Mrbrock

Supercharger - Upland, CA (under construction Jan 2024, 64 V3 stalls)

Thanks for acknowledging. There was a pause after the email was sent out saying they had to reorganize and payments would be delayed. But they should be through the worst of that and moving forward again.
  24. Mrbrock

    Supercharger - Temple, TX

Look at the far top left of that photo and you will see unwrapped V4. That is where the standalone V4 stall pictured is located.

    Supercharger - Quincy, WA

Really, IR vision? Tesla isn't using it for FSD so why would they use it on bots? That would be admitting that you need IR to see in the dark and why would a car need to see in the dark? Hmmmmmm....

Supercharger - Burlington, WA - Marketplace Dr. (LIVE Jun 2023, 16 V3 stalls)

I have never seen a permit for regular maintenance. Technically, any work done on an electrical system including like for like changes would require a permit. Silly but that is how the letter of the law usually is.
  28. Mrbrock

Supercharger - Upland, CA (under construction Jan 2024, 64 V3 stalls)

Because there hasn't been activity for 2 weeks? Jeez, lets give it a rest on the "every under construction site is being abandoned" hyperbole. Sites under construction are being finished. There are delays that existed before the team was let go that will continue to be a problem...
  29. Mrbrock

    Supercharger- Seattle, WA - Meridian Ave N (under construction Jan 2024, 12 V3 + L2)

Why are we jumping to conclusions that all sites that have paused with cabinets and stalls installed are being forgotten? If there is no transformer, they still have to wait for that. Whether the original team was still in place or fired, they can't get transformers any sooner. That is all up...
  30. Mrbrock

    Supercharger - Arvada, CO - W 56th Ave

And restriping. That relocated stall is ADA and needs a much wider spot than what is there. At least a removal of the center line there and then the walkway to the hotel. when two spots become 1.

    Supercharger - Kuttawa, KY - US-62

Might need to head over to the forum linked in the first post and reach out to the member who posted the original photo.

    Supercharger - McBride, BC

Not showing up in the app yet but they could be on and not communicating yet.
  33. Mrbrock

Supercharger - Burlington, WA - Marketplace Dr. (LIVE Jun 2023, 16 V3 stalls)

Those are V4. Could be someone left one on the ground and it got run over. Or the cable was pulled out trying to reach a non Tesla if the site supports that. Many reason they need to replace charge cable, not just end of life.
  34. Mrbrock

Supercharger - Burlington, WA - Marketplace Dr. (LIVE Jun 2023, 16 V3 stalls)

Seems like what is happening. Never seen a permit for it before since inspectors never check the actual equipment for proper operation. Whoever they brought in to oversee this is very cautious. Maybe worried about getting fired or something…
  35. Mrbrock

    Supercharger - Quincy, WA

Will thieves be able to steal (or deface/disable) them too? Seems like adding more of a target to have them on site. Tesla just needs to use their amazing FSD Vision to identify thieves 🙄
  36. Mrbrock

Supercharger - Burlington, WA - Marketplace Dr. (LIVE Jun 2023, 16 V3 stalls)

Happening elsewhere in WA with no rhyme or reason as to the number of connectors per site. Maybe this is just regular maintenance. Lynnwood is Urban, Entiat V3. Not NACS related.
  37. Mrbrock

Supercharger - Upland, CA (under construction Jan 2024, 64 V3 stalls)

This happens with a lot of sites. They could be months out on the transformer so the striping gets put on back burner for sub contractors.
  38. Mrbrock

    Supercharger - Baytown, TX - N Hwy 146

The above post shows it was under inspection as of March 2024 so that is before the layoffs. Also, it is unlikely that satellite image is from the last 3 weeks.
  39. Mrbrock

DCFC charging - Bakersfield, CA - Wible Rd (not Supercharger)

Finally up and running. 4 dual port 180kw Skycharger (EV Connect).
  40. Mrbrock

Supercharger - Kalispell, MT (under construction Apr 2024, 8 V4 stalls)

Those are V4 stalls so they have built in magic dock. Whether they will be enabled is a wait and see proposition. Same for being open to other makes using NACS. I am not familiar with that app but I recommend supercharge.info.
  41. Mrbrock

Supercharger - Grants Pass, OR - NE. Terry Ln. (permit Jul 2023, 12 V3 stalls)

Once Tesla sorts out who will be activating these sites going forward, they will get turned on once they have completed all inspections.
  42. Mrbrock

Supercharger - Sammamish, WA - Klahanie Dr SE (permit April 2024, 12 V4 stalls)

Everyone who had a name on a permit for Tesla Superchargers was fired. It is unlikely they will change the contact name on the permit even if it is picked up and fees are paid. We are in a wait and see period. For those interested in updates, please try to refrain from asking if there are any...

Supercharger - Honolulu, HI - Kahala Resort (12 stalls)

You have the most recent contact with someone who would have information on this. There is no Tesla contact (and has never been one) to give out updates regarding not completed or not working sites. You can continue to ask the hotel or go up to the Tesla guys you saw and ask them.
  44. Mrbrock

Supercharger - Upland, CA (under construction Jan 2024, 64 V3 stalls)

Transformer is not related to the Tesla team being let go. That is on the utility. There are sites that were/are under construction at the time of the fire that continue being built so it should be no different here. The parking lot painting could be waiting on the transformer installation...
