I have 19” wheels and actually I drive more in town and my wife drives more on the highway.Part of it is because of the difference in models, but likely also some difference in driving style and potentially use pattern if I were to guess. Your 350Wh/mi for a MS 75D seems high to me. Do you have 21" wheels and/or tend to do a lot of high speed interstate driving while your wife Model 3 maybe more local driving or drives more moderately on highway??
I have a mid-2016 MS90D, 19" wheels, and my lifetime average is just under 280 Wh/mi. I've had P90D or MS P100D as service loaners and those tended to be in the low 300s for the same driving style where my MS90D would be in the 275-280 range.
My 17 75D avg is a little below 300. If I baby it it’s 250 if I’m aggressive it’s 350
I should note I’m also on 19’s. Also, on highway over 80 mph causes high w/phMaybe I’m just driving too aggressively.
Yea, heavy right foot. But your wife's frugal wh/mi is pretty damn impressive, she must drive sooo slow?Maybe I’m just driving too aggressively.

I have the same car and I am averaging 217 wh/km over the last 13000 km (one year so taking into account various temp). Your 350 wh/mile seems fine. The shorter trips are less efficient.I have been driving a little slower lately and I’ve been averaging 325 kw/mile. Is that close to normal for a model S?
I do a lot of short trips and it has been hot lately so I guess that is one reason mine is high. But to average 217 is excellent I would be happy to get under 300.I have the same car and I am averaging 217 wh/km over the last 13000 km (one year so taking into account various temp). Gotta multiply that Wh/km by 1.61 to get Wh/m. That 217Wh/km is 325 Wh/m. Did I do the math correctly?I do a lot of short trips and it has been hot lately so I guess that is one reason mine is high. But to average 217 is excellent I would be happy to get under 300.
