What is funny about all the speculation on the nose of the Model 3 is that what we will see is such an early production of the Model 3, that what ever we see might completely change in the final production. It did with the Model X.
So true...
Just wait until we start seeing Mules out and about. The ENDLESS complaints about the falcon wing doors not lining up on the mules was fun. I can only imagine what we will find to complain about the 3 before it even comes out... Maybe the nose cone will be it ;-)
Too bad... that looks sooooo practical! I like the handy model holder on the front fender! It probably won't look too much like this:

But they were reliable and cheap.....
I never had an electric window die on me but I did have one of those handles fall off in my hand
Ha. Now that you mention it, I remember one of my parents' cars when I was a kid had a window crank on one door that was loose - it would come off if you didn't push against the door while cranking.I never had an electric window die on me but I did have one of those handles fall off in my hand

I've had both happen. The window switch for the left rear window mounted on the driver's door in my current car has been temperamental for years. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Back in the days of window cranks I knew someone with a loose crank that frequently fell off when you tried to roll down the window.
Porsche will be surprised by the 911-like front of the Model 3.

I though everyone was at agreement that the Model 3 would getting the VW Minibus front end.
In all seriousness, the 911 drag coeiffecent is 0.31, and the Model X is 0.24. So I would venture to say it won't look like a 911. The results of 0.07 difference looks much better.
Nothing wrong with the look of the 3rd gen Prius, although I'm not a fan of the new triangular Japanese styling language which is part of 4th Gen design language.Keep in mind the Gen 2 prius is .26, Gen 3 is .25, and Gen 4 is .24
