VW ID.3 self-driving system boasts "market's best"

Today a Norwegian paper got a glimpse of the self-driving features of VW's ID.3: Bli med på test av markedets beste selvkjøringssystem

I don't speak Norwegian, but Google Translate says the title means "Join the test of the market's best self-driving system"

They include a 15 minute video of the system in action (which appears to only be traffic aware cruise control for now). The driver is actively turning the steering wheel, and the translated description of the video states: "The video at the top takes you on a 15 minute drive, where we never had to use any of the pedals - except for a stop at a red light. See also how Emergency Assist stops the car in an emergency."

I wonder how they're defining the market if this constitutes the "market's best."

Perhaps the market is under 35k euros, lol. They can define the "market" as anything they'd like.

Actually on my daily commute it is more like a "Brake Check" system for drivers following too closely.
