What's the payback time for the autopilot cost based on the insurance saving? EAP + FSD = $3000 + $5000 = $8000 ? How many years? Assuming 5% interest rate, never?

Not the point is it? The fact insurers see cars with autopilot enabled as less of a risk is good. The fact the driving with AP on is so much more relaxing and fun is a bonus

Driving with AP can be fun in chill mode, but in P mode not so much.

Can't say I get to use P-mode much, maybe different in Estonia?. On Country roads here its great, I can nip past something on a short straight, but 90% of my driving is either on highway at constant speed-limit, or slower if traffic / roadworks dictates, or stop-start, and for both of those AP can get on with it as far as I'm concerned!

Compared to "manual driving" I find AP far less tiring for the humdrum highway & stop-start stuff
